The NDDC
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is offering a foreign post-graduate scholarship program as part of its human resources development to give Niger Deltans the training and skills they need to effectively participate in the current administration’s local content program and compete internationally in a variety of professional disciplines.
The Nddc scholarship offers fully funded postgraduate scholarship programs( master’s or PhD) abroad, covering tuition fees, flight, visa, accommodation, and living expenses for selected candidates. The exchange rate of the country’s currency to the foreign institution will be considered while awarding the scholarship.
The NDDC scholarship is for candidates who meet the requirements and have earned a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree from reputable universities in one of the following disciplines.

To Qualify for the NDDC scholarship you must meet The NDDC scholarship requirements which entail:
1. You must be from the Niger Delta region
2. Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
3. You must have a first degree with a minimum of 2nd class–lower division for candidates willing to undertake a master’s degree.
4. Must not be to any cult group and must not have any criminal record
5. Must have gained admission for a postgraduate program in any of the listed disciplines in a foreign university.
The NDDC offers fully funded postgraduate programs. Enabling a lot of benefits this entails:
Fully Funded scholarship:
The NDDC offers an expense-paid postgraduate program for selected students abroad.
Tuition Fee: The NDDC pays for the full cost of your education.
Travel expenses:
It covers the cost of your travel and visa to and from the foreign university.
Visa cost: the scholarship will cover the expenses for obtaining your visa.
Stipends: you all receive a monthly stipend to cover living expenses.
Accomodations: The scholarship covers the cost of your accommodation.

While Applying for the NDDC certain documents are required for application of the NDDC scholarship program. This entails:
1. Application form
2. Recent passport photograph
3. Local government identification letter.
4. Postgraduate admission letter from a recognized overseas university. Relevant degrees from recognized universities.
5. WASSCE/NECO results
6. NYSC discharge/exemption certificate
7. Guarantors written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons.
Member of national assembly/ state house of assembly
1. Chairman of LGA
2. First-class traditional ruler
3. High court judge
Eligibility
To be eligible for the NDDC scholarship. The applicant should hail from Delta State, Nigeria, and should have obtained a first class, second class upper, or lower division bachelor’s degree, and should not be more than the age of 40.
